Manuel Riquelme Loyola

MAN AND LANDSCAPE EXHIBITION

Commercial Room, Cultural Extension building, Santiago Library, 2012.

The present exhibition of the artist Manuel Riquelme refers us, from the aesthetic point of view, to a style that in the times of permanent medial bombardment that runs, is still paradoxical. This is because it appeals to a personal realism, of an intimate nature, in which faces and landscapes emerge that are, in the end, the plastic pretext to enter that world in which colors are transformed and account for a register from the stain and the vivid expression regarding the places and the psychology of each portrayed model.
